Individuals often find themselves stagnant due to their own patterns of thoughts and behaviors or due to the absence of relational connection. Without that support, we often lack the ability to recognize the benefit of change, leading to a struggle in our journey forward. The clients I work with receive a tailored plan that encourages each individual toward their own goals and psychological well-being. This philosophy is built upon a safe space being created, allowing true exploration and expression of oneself, while identifying tools to enhance balance and happiness.I am a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, Registered Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern, and Play Therapist. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Sand Tray. Prior to counseling my background includes instruction in both secondary and higher education.I have experience with children and adolescents dealing with school challenges, relationships, self-esteem, and academics. With adult clients, my experience comes in dealing with divorce, trauma, in substance recovery, life transitions and overcoming hardships.
