Being vulnerable and transparent about who we are isn’t always easy. It takes a deep sense of self reflection to tune into our own mind, our needs, our wants, but what about what we deserve? Often times, as individuals, we don’t always think about what we are deserving of or what fulfills us. Developing a deeper connection to your self is where it begins to help explore these thoughts. It is important to take the time and energy to invest in yourself and get yourself to where you want to be. There are many moving parts that affects us mentally, emotionally, and physically and it is crucial to remain mindful of these shifts.The journey to becoming a psychotherapist has taken much self reflection. Through personal challenges and much experience, it has guided me to reach a level in which I aim to be a comforting, neutral ground for my client’s to explore themselves-whether it is struggling with their self image, relationships with significant others, or a loss in their life. I want my client’s to blossom from the inside out but also from the outside in. I join and reach them with an open mind wherever they are in their lives. It is important for me to be their advocate and activist and be resourceful by providing the tools and techniques for them to design their life the way they want it to be, the way they deserve it to be.
