Product looked good in store. Directions are basic and skimpy and do not provide solutions for working planks under toe-kicks. “Lock” strips are falling off boards. When cutting, corners chip easily. When “lifting previous plank”, almost the entire floor comes apart. Now I know I got what I paid for which was still too much with all these problems. If I didn”t need to get this project done ASAP I would return the product and go by something good somewhere.

We purchased a few thousand dollars in pavers Sept. 2017. The delivery company for Menards calls and tells us they are short by 700 pavers. The total amount for all the pavers has been charged on our card. So they deliver what is available. A week later my Husband calls Menards and the rest are available. They want to charge us again for delivering a product that THEY shorted US on. Not our problem! They will not work with us at all. We have spent literally thousands of dollars there over the years, we have no other home improvement store to go to. Manager isn”t there, how convienient. Can”t get a hold of Corporate, can”t get a hold of credit card company, what a joke! Save Big Money, NOT! Get ripped off, YES! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, ABSOLUTELY!!!

This is just a heads up. I bought three of these tress on April 21, 2018 at your Illinois Road store in Fort Wayne. I felt fine when I purchased them around 2PM on that Saturday…I planted the trees later in the afternoon and started getting very weak and experienced fatigue. I barely got them planted and had to go in and lie down. my joints started to hurt and I got a two degree fever. I thought I was getting the flue. By Sunday I was worse and couldn”t walk without assistance. I went to the ER Sunday around 5PM. Long story short… after all tests…blood pressure.urine, blood, flue swab, EKG, x-ray. the doctor found nothing wrong and suggested it was an unknown virus or perhaps I was allergic to the Juniper trees. I was not in hospital overnight. and was back to work Tuesday. I am wondering if the nursery sprayed those tress with something pretty potent and when I lifted them and got them close to my nose, that insecticide or spray of some sort was a sort of poison. It happened very fast. I am a CEO of a midsize company and am not going to sue anybody, but I suggest you check with your nursery and see if they might be using some sprays that could be toxic. There are lots of plaintiff attorneys around that would love that sort of case and I am only suggesting you check with the nursery and perhaps send some samples to the lab to verify there not using something toxic. The Farmington store has 2 Arbors with a price sign on it for 139.99. we wanted to buy that arbor for that price, but when they looked it up it was on the wrong arbor so they would not sell us this arbor for that price. We only wanted one and was told no. To me that was bait and switch. Now if you pull up everything we bought at this Menards in the last year, you would notice we spend a lot of money here. We wanted to contact you to get this straightened out before we go farther with this. We do have a lot of pictures of the arbor and the price that was put on it with zip ties for the 139.99. The supervisor was Chris. Very poor customer service from him we thought. Thank you in advance for resolving this issue. The GM at Toledo Menards. I have worked there a while and have noticed a few things about the way he operates. 1. He acts conceded most of the time talking down to people who aren”t other GM”s. 2. He will berate people anywhere especially over the radio for everyone to hear. 3. I have never seen the guy do any work before. It seems like all he ever does is walk around aimlessly pissing workers off.

We bought materials for a pole shed last year. The materials were delivered late and arrived just two days prior to a snowfall that didn’t melt until April (those of you in Wisconsin know what I’m talking about). Due to the early snowfall, not only were we not able to put the shed up, we weren’t able to sort through the stacks to see what had or had not been delivered. By the way, I didn’t think I HAD to inventory them. We just finished building our house. Those materials were purchased from a reputable building supplier. I never had a reason to inventory anything they delivered. They simply delivered what I paid for. Menards, to the contrary, does not necessarily deliver what you paid for. This was demonstrated, first, by the failure to deliver a door. When we discovered the door was missing, we argued for a time with the store but the door eventually was delivered (I realize now just how lucky I was). Today, however, when we realized an entire shipment (3 packages in total) of screws was missing, the store told us, “tough luck.” Too much time has passed. If it had been within a couple of weeks of delivery, MAYBE we could have done something. Okay — so that means that we DO have to inventory everything (I’m talking hundreds of items in an order for a pole shed) within a couple of weeks of delivery or you’re out of luck. I have to say that even if we were able to start building last year, we still wouldn’t have known the roofing screws were missing within two weeks unless we had done a complete inventory upon delivery. So now I have to shell out more money to pay for screws I already paid for. Way to go, Menards. I can tell you I will NEVER order anything from you again. I would rather pay a premium to get it through Lowe’s or a building supplier.

Went to purchase some rock salt. Looked around store with no luck, stopped store employee for assistance. Was helpful looking it up on the computer and told me it was in the garden department. I went looking for it and no luck again. Asked another employee and they didn”t know and went to ask someone. They sent me to the outside south yard, no luck finding. I asked the yard employee and they had no clue. I left and went to Home Depot, walked in store, found within three minutes and purchased. Menards needs an employee coaching and training program!

We recently purchaed new interior doors and closet doors from Menards. All were Mastercraft doors. All of our closet doors were professionally installed. The closet doors keep randomly falling off. We are afraid that one of them is going to fall off on our 11 year old son. Menards was no help at all. We have to contact the manufacturer WTH. Stand by your product Menards, this is now a safety issue for you.

We bought the Tuscany Kitchen Faucet about a year ago from Menards. The sprayer does not spray. It has a “Lifetime Warranty” we have the box, but have been unable to locate our receipt. I would like to have the head of the faucet replaced and would be willing to pay for it, but have been unable to even find a place to contact other than this site online. I do feel they should back up their Lifetime Warranty, you can be sure I will not buy another product from Menards. We should not have to jump through hoops to be able to find out who even to contact to get items replaced under a warranty.

So I ordered my siding from Menards. Pointed to the sample wall and told them I wanted that one – the Khaki Dutchlap siding. Two weeks later I picked it up and brought it home. Opened it the next day to find that it wasn”t Dutchlep, it was the regular stuff. Went to the store to get it straightened out and was told they”d take it back, but with a 15% restocking fee. What the hell? This was their mistake, not mine, I didn”t type the order up. The manager said I should have been able to decipher their order sheet and see that it didn”t say Dutchlap before I paid for it. I wrote letters to the store and to corporate but no response. They”ve just lost a customer whose been spending about $1200 a year there for the past 11 years. Many of their employees recognize me. But they”ll never see me again. Lucky for me, I have a Home Depot about 2 miles away.

This is to advise you that you have a Cashier that is extremely offensive and may have abuse issues. The Cashier with a Beard at 8:00 a.m. at the Menard store located at 8505 Menard Dr, Lansing, MI 48917 The Cashier stated “A cage is for kids”. This Cashier stated this to a customer that was in line at another Cash register and many people heard this. It is very rude and offensive and this Cashier may have abuse issues. I am sure it can be determined who the Cashier is as of time and this Cashier is the only one present with a beard. I am sure your action will teach this Cashier not to be offensive or discovery and communication may help this Cashier with further issues. Thank you. Anonymous
