Integrative, Holistic ApproachI offer a holistic, integrative approach to psychotherapy. Besides examining common life problems and solutions, I focus on body, mind, emotions, and spirit. I often use CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and Mindfulness techniques to highlight the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I invite clients to consider life purpose and the potential for spiritual growth within life’s challenges. I draw upon the wisdom of my Christian roots and that of other faiths, both Western and Eastern. My intent is to help you discover that therapy is empowering and can support you in determining the best direction for your life.I work with adults & teens (individuals/couples) on relationship issues (premarital, marital, divorce, remarriage, finances, blended families), transitions, parenting, addiction issues with individuals and couples, spirituality, life purpose. My work is informed by four decades teaching Yoga, Meditation, and Breath Work, which focus on cultivating health, satisfaction, & happiness in life.Besides my extensive professional & unusual holistic education, I also draw upon my experiences as a wife and mother.
