Purchased a Bali 260 cc Scooter in June of 2008. I presently have 350 miles on the scooter. To date I have had the following issues: 1) Fuel filter cracked and leaked tank of gas in garage. 2) Electrical short in handle bars that blew in-line battery fuse. Lost power in traffic and almost hit by car. 3) Raidator hose came loose and drained on garage floor. Had to remove entire side of scooter to reconnect. 4) Nut came off drive wheel traveling 60 mph in traffic. Again almost hit by car due to loss of power. To date still waiting for “warranty parts” to replaced damaged drive wheel that were like pulling teeth to order. Service department was unclear what the part was and took 45 minutes to get place the order. WORST PURCHASE OF MY LIFE!!

THEIR review page is down, no good link to it. So, here we are. I’ve had one of their TaoTao PowerMax 150cc Scooters, purchased April 2018. Exhaust fell off the first week of ownership. Exhaust connection broken, welded together, broke right above the weld. AND the replacement they have to order is a beefier design, so they sell [censored] products and sell the “good quality” parts at a markup. The blinker cover fell off one of the back blinkers. They sent a replacement, but It was the wrong part, and conveniently my emails were never answered after that. And on top of that, after looking into it, I would have to strip the entire rear end of this scooter to the frame to even reach the wires or even the [protected]@mn bolts to replace the blinker. And what started this rant, 3 batteries in a year. ONE year. When I ordered the new one this time, what I got was half the battery I thought I got. After looking into it, they don’t even sell the battery I need anymore and send me a 4Ah when I needed 7Ah. So, I decided I’d return the battery and get one somewhere else. And wouldn’t you know it, no return options listed on their website. I called and was told to just send it back, on my own dime, and they’ll return the battery cost once received. I asked for that in writing, email, for traceability, and I was told “We don’t do that” SO I paid extra money to send this out FedEx with signature required, because at this point I was assuming they would get the battery back, but claim they did not receive it, and refuse my return. Well, it was received. I sent an email saying I see it was receive at this time and signed by this person, when will I get my return. “It will take 2 days to process” Already not what I was told before, but whatever. 3 days later, “hey, its now been 3 days, where’s my refund?” ” Accounting only processes refunds once a week, be patient.” I send a [censored]y email saying how shady this all is and on what day is the process completed. Well, it was completed today. I received a nice email saying that the refund has been completed, MINUS A 25% RESTOCKING FEE! Now I’m not expecting anything out of this company, I knew full well I was buying a cheap product, customer service will absolutely not be on par. And even if I did try to start something, I’m sure they’ll send some kind of line item on my receipt that says something along the lines of “thank you for your purchase, and no take backs, HAHAHAHA SUCKA!” So, what I am hoping for is at least one person will go searching reviews for this company/product and see my review and make a better choice than I did. Trust me, if you want a motorized vehicle to last you at least one year of being street legal without major repairs, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! Do yourself a favor and get a name brand, dealer bike. More expensive for sure, but you’ll thank yourself later.

The 110cc P60 ATV we purchased for our son from powersportsmax.com was delivered on 7/13/11, which he still hasn’t been able to ride. The laundry list of problems with the junk product we received include: a cracking sound & fire coming out the right side of the motor, rear brakes don’t work, ignition switch is defective, front brake cable is melted from being wedged in the motor and the battery won’t stay charged. (Sounds real safe for a kid to ride, doesn’t it?!) Even though we should not have to worry about troubleshooting a brand new product, my husband started out willing to do so. However, after at least 20-30 attempted calls to customer service on 7/15, 7/18, 7/19, 7/20, 7/21 & 7/22, we’ve now discovered what a horrible company we made the mistake of dealing with! Never before have I heard of customer service reps hanging up on their customers, ignoring our phone calls, and lying everyday when they say their manager will call back, which never happens! They obviously do not know what customer service is! Unfortunately, we did not find all of the bad reviews online regarding this joke of a company until it was too late! We’ve submitted a complaint to BBB and our credit card company, but still worry that we may be out the money spent we wasted on this junk!

Thanks for the heads-up. I was considering a purchase from their site but will pass on this outfit. I checked the Better Business Bureau in SoCal, and the company has a CCC rating. Purchased Roketa moped 50cc, front wheel bearing failed after 35 miles. Repeated calls to customer no-service resulted in hours on hold, no call-backs and no resolution. Would ship it back if we could! This is after spending a month to get the title sent to us. We had to result to paying Fed-ex to have the title sent to us. Assembly instructions sent were terrible and we had to call for additional instructions. Very poor quality in customer service, and the product so far shows the same level of quality…both very bad and we are upset!

Purchased pit bike 110, 3 days of short rides, 3rd gear failed. Had to disassemble and ship back the engine for repair. Now the following summer after a day of riding same thing happened 3rd gear failed. I submitted a tech form, a week later received the email to call Mike or Anthony, it’s been 2 weeks and Mike and Anthony are never around, customer service says they are the only ones to handle this, but they are never around to handle this.

We purchased 3 four wheelers on Thanksgiving night online. We called to cancel within one hour. No one answered the phone after countless tries. When we reached them the next morning, we were told that order could not be cancelled cause more than an hour and order was already sent to warehouse. Attendant finally admitted that they were closed Thanksgiving and that was why phone was answered yet products had still been sent to warehouse . Attendant agreed to submit and refund request and we would hear something yesterday. I have called, emailed and left messages with no response yesterday. I talked to same attendant today and he is now saying Monday before warehouse responds. He then proceeded to hang up on me.

This company is the worst. Im sick of writing about them and my problems I have had with them. So I will paste one of the many E-Mails I have sent to them! Hi, I hope you can replace this. This was only the first time I took the AVT out for a ride! Due to the fact, the original battery I was sent did not hold a charge. I had to go out and buy another battery. I was ridding for 2-3 hours and the chain fell and got jammed. I had to open the cover to work the kink out of the jam. After fixing the chain, I took the ATV for a ride around the yard and pulled it back into the garage. When putting the cover for the chain back on, I then noticed oil leaking. This is unacceptable, the plate used to guard the crank case and the wires is a thin piece of metal. At this point in time, I am a very unhappy customer and hope you can help me with my problem. Thanks Stay Away from powersportsmax!!! or deeals inc. (same company) Same as everyone else they gave me the run around on the phone and just dont care if the customer is happy or not. Bad way to run a business, Its crazy they are still in business.

This “company’s” website states EVEN TODAY that they have a moped “In Stock”. I ordered this moped in June and had not received it. An email response from them stated that they did not have the moped in stock and would not for at least 20 days. I emailed that I wanted to cancel my order and they stated that I had to do that by telephone. I called twice, only to be placed on hold for 30 minutes each time before giving up. They also initially told me there would be a 6% fee for cancelling an order, even though they did not fulfill their end of the contract. Luckily, they did not actually charge my Credit Card. They had only placed an $1, 100 hold on it. Due to to this Company’s suspicious actions, my only choice was to have my credit card company close my card so that they would not come back and charge me. Lesson learned and fortunately I am not out any money. However, I am certain many people aren’t aware of the actions they can take on their end to remedy their own situations.

THEY ONLY POST GOOD REVIEWS ON THEIR SITE. this one was ignored – You get what you pay for I guess. Shipping was fine but once we put everything together, followed all the instructions, it still will not start. The seat does not open and several people have tried, scooter owners even. The trunk doesn’t lock so it’s useless. We are now having to tow it to a shop to see if they can get it to start. I bought a new battery at $70 and battery charger for $40, now $95 for an hour of labor at a local shop and fingers crossed they can figure it out without going into extra hours. Buyer be ware! Buy local. Lesson learned for us!

We bought a mobed in March 16th. They said the bike was not available and then would not return the money. We have been on the phone with them every day and now they are just not answering our calls. They kept saying it would be back in the bank in a few days but would not give us a transaction code. Now they just don”t talk. Leave us on hold until we hang up. This is a bad bad company out to rob anyone that they can. They are protected by the law and the action is a civil matter and you have to go to court to get them. None of us have that kind of money. We should all ban together and go after them.
