I received an email that I had won a prize and I had my choice of one of three products: a skin product, a health product or a family product (as I recall), I chose the skin product. They indicated that I would need to pay $4.99 for shipping but that that was it, no other obligations. I received a product called Pure Youth Solutions in the mail without any material explaining anything about the product. Just a bottle in a mailing envelope addressed to me with not even a return address. So I just threw it in a bottom drawer of my bathroom as I was not about to use something I didn’t know anything about other than that the first ingredient was water along with a litany of other ingredients that cannot be pronounced. A few weeks later I received another envelope with the same product in the same type of envelope with no return address and no material or information on the inside. I googled Pure Skin and found that they are a company that has been scamming people with this free sample scam for quite some time with the free sample, get the credit card and then charge it over and over and send additional products. AND there are many complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau, Complaints Board, Ripoff Report, and Consumer Protection Agency about them. There is even a Pure Skin Blog of people who have been duped by this company and cannot stop the monthly credit card charges. I was charged $99.99 and when I tried to call them and have them reverse the charges and stop shipments they didn’t answer the phone or had a message to leave your number and they would call back. They never call back. I called my credit card company to file a complaint and wrote a letter as well, but have to wait to see what will happen. In the meantime, everyone else beware Pure Skin and any company that offers you something for free—it is usually a scam.. I demand I want my $99.99 back and all future shipments to stop.. I don’t recommend them
