Thank you for visiting my profile. I have years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, couples, and LGBT clientele. I utilize family systems and cognitive-behavioral (CBT) interventions to help individuals with mood disorders, anxiety, phobias, substance abuse, dual diagnosis, illness/chronic pain, grief/loss, trauma related issues, marital and parenting issues, and I utilize relaxation techniques and mindfulness to help challenge maladaptive patterns and empower individuals toward gaining an improved quality of life. I believe that each person has the ability to affect change in their life by realizing and drawing on personal strengths one discovers while being treated in a supportive, compassionate environment.Before I began work in mental health, I received a BFA degree in theatre arts from Jacksonville University. Further, I studied for a post-graduate certificate at Webber Douglas academy of dramatic art in London, England, and upon my return to the United States have spent several years studying and acting in New York City.
