Dr. Rich Elmore is a Professor within the School of Psychology at Florida Institute of Technology. He teaches doctoral coursework on Clinical Supervision, Clinical Hypnosis, Marital & Sex Therapy, Consultation, EMDR and PTSD. In addition, Dr. Elmore has presented over eighty research papers at annual meetings of the American Psychological Association and the Southeastern Psychological Association. He has been a workshop presenter for the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, Florida Society of Clinical Hypnosis and Florida Psychological Association.Dr. Elmore maintains a part-time private practicespecializing in couple therapy to include pre-maritalcounseling, marriage counseling, sex therapy, divorce counseling and divorce mediation. He is certified inclinical hypnosis, sex therapy and approved as a divorce mediatorby the Supreme Court of Florida.He is a member of the Emeritus Medical Staff, Department of Psychiatry at HolmesRegional Medical Center in Melbourne. In 2004, Dr.Elmore was selected “Outstanding Psychologist ofthe Year” for his work with combat veterans by theBrevard/Indian River Chapter of the Florida PsychologicalAssociation.
