I have a deep enthusiasm for working with the strengths and abilities of people. I view therapy as a process to improve the overall quality of your life while gaining new insight to how your thoughts and beliefs effect your coping skills. Everyone experiences challenging times, however, when life becomes overwhelming personal growth becomes difficult. My experience has led me to recognize that therapy remains a very individual experience. I aim to created a warm, positive environment where you can share your stories while increasing your overall sense of well-being to develop inner strength.I utilize mindfulness based cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution focused techniques, in a respectful and non-judgmental environment.I work with individuals, couples and families on a variety of concerns including: adjustment, anxiety, depression, life transition, gender identification and parenting. I consider all aspects of my clients’ lives and utilize a variety of techniques to tailor an individualized approach.
