I believe this company is ripping vulnerable people off. They seemed legitimate when I researched them. I both called and emailed them via their contact info before initiating the assembly process. Their deal is, you purchase their kit for $55. plus $4.50 shipping, which is reimbursed upon acceptance of the acceptable completed product. Mine was 100 mini 1/12 books, which was accepted according to the guy on the phone, and I should have been paid $1.00 for each book, plus the requested refund of the kit deposit, plus $5. reimbursed shipping. They received my finished product Mar. 10 according to USPS delivery confirmation. They said they received it the 12th. I have tried on many occasions via their contact online and by phone to get answers, have been put on hold for 1/2 hour twice, given no answers. At this point, I want justice more than payment. I am out the deposit, plus the $100 owed, total $160. But I’m more concerned with these people getting
away with taking advantage of vulnerable folks out there, disabled, homebound, retirees, etc. I’ve been researching this company via the internet, and have found many many people who have lost lots of money and time to this company. For myself, I lost the 60 hours it took to complete their product, not including the hours and hours of researching them. The $ amounts when added up, are huge. The guy at one point whined about how busy he is because ‘he’ has 85,000 clients. If he has that many clients, and just 1 in 100 gets ripped off, that’s an immense amount of dollars he’s pocketing. I asked to speak to the owner, he said she wasn’t available. I can find no way to contact this person. I was asked if I wanted to speak to a manager, that was one of the times I was on hold for 1/2 hour. I also found via one company that may acquire their books from this company, not sure about that, that these books sell for around $5.80 each. Those who assemble them get
$1.00 if anything at all. Basically, the guy gets our products for free. He keeps the deposit. The materials he sent might have cost him a few dollars, plus the shipping. The materials are honestly meant to fail… I say that because unless you’re stubborn, the book materials I received, would not have worked going by their instruction. They also say in the paper you will receive $5. for each 50 books received. I sent them 100 books. To date, I have nothing from them. I did call my credit card company and open a dispute about the $59.50. What I would like to see… this company needs to pay the people who have done the work for them. They need to know, just because folks are desperate to make money somehow, that they can’t get away with ripping people off like this. This person/company has been doing this for a long time. Dating back to the early/mid 2000’s. I can only imagine the huge number of folks who thought they had no recourse, could not afford
legal action (I know I can’t), did not know what direction to go, or if it was worth it to pursue help over whatever dollars they invested. I suspect this company has ripped people off for thousands and thousands of dollars, and is still making money on those he ripped off with the products they made. I truly hope something can be done. I wish noone ill will, but feel strongly that someone has to look out for the little guy (those of us who’ve been burned by this company) trying to make a little money to help their lives along. By my calculation, the books I sent being sold as they are via a reputable miniature company, are valued at $5.80 retail. For every set of miniatures this company does not pay the assembler, the profit for the company is immense. To date, I have no resolution, contact or response from them.. I demand Payment for accepted product $100, reimbursement for kit-$55 plus $5 shipping as per their policy.. Stay away
