Trent has a deep understanding of people and how life’s events shape them. He enjoys hearing people’s stories and helping them see their life in a new way. Trent practices Reality-based counseling-focusing on what is happening in a person life, not minimizing its impact, but trying to gain a perspective on what might be going on underneath the surface. He encourages clients to share, feel, let go and be brutally honest with themselves and others. In doing this, he can help them discover what next steps might be right for them.Because of his own struggles with anxiety, depression and ADHD he has a deep appreciation for others who suffer with these issues and knows what it is like to feel like you are never enough. Clients with such issues often have a deep sense of shame but healing is possible.
