we stayed at westgate las vegas from 10/22-10/25, not on a time share deal – we paid cash. we still signed up and paid $40 for a timeshare presentation – where we were treated harshly after the 1 hour presentation turned into 4 hours on my wife’s birthday. we were sold tickets to the sexxy show which come to find out was not even playing during our stay. we were then offered to see a crass comedian which we did not want to nor did we go see. we signed up for a second presentation which we were told was a travel club – not a timeshare and we were told was 45 minutes but which the presenter was 40 minutes late getting to – and informed us we would have to tour the property again even though we told her we had seen it the day before. she grabbed my wife’s arm and physically held her there while calling for a manager. we were told we would get $100 in gambling chips and a show and dinner – we did not receive, nor our money back. we returned to our room where our door had been repainted which i got on my hand and ruined my manicure and the do not disturb sign was removed. we had a medical breathing device in the room which by some stretch of the imagination caused housekeeping to threaten us with a smoking fine because of the nebulizers vapors. Being done with hotel personnel we decided to stay in and order room service – which took 3 hours to get and the food was cold. all around bad experience – and every personnel we approached with complaints rejected us and disregarded our issues while inviting us yet another timeshare. I would like someone to respond back to me on these issues and offer some kind of resolution.

We stayed at Westgate Lakes. From the moment that we arrived till the moment that we left we were treated horrible! We were snapped at, yelled at, denied our room key our 1st night, left strandedn had eyes rolled at us. Our fridge broke, or dryer was broke, I was in tears when I insisted on talking to a supervisor. We feel taht Westgate Lakes DESTROYED our Orlando vacation. Nobody calls back. NOBODY cares how westgate treats people! This waa the worst vacation ever.

We have been unhappy owners for 4 years. What a scam and ripoff. We can never go anywhere we want even with a years notice! I read a complaint on another site and called the company they suggested (Timeshare Discharge) it took the 3 months but they were able to get us out. If you own at Westgate, or I guess anywhere, try them, we got our release yesterday and couldn’t be happier. Goodbye Westgate.

We have been owners for about 20 years and I recently booked a stay in Las Vegas for son. I was given the confirmation numbers and received an initial confirmation email but it had the wrong name. So, I called back for them to correct and since April the 4th I have been unable to receive a conformation email. I have made at least 6 phones, spoken to rude customers service reps, posted on the Facebook page, and sent a message via Facebook. The name is still wrong on the reservation, and as of yesterday I have been given conflicting information re: my reservation. I have been told, that I need to speak to the Elite Team but no number has been given and no one can seem to transfer or provide me a number, I have been told the correct emails will come out at the top of the hours, I have been told again only the Elite Team can resolve my issues. Still no resolve.

we have been owners at westgate smokey mountains for several years .. in addition to when we are not using our tme share we rent at both wild bear and river terrace. we have always enjoyed our stays and we frequent both restaurants. today we ca.e down to river terrace for breakfast we were greeted by the most rudest individual. not only were we greeted like that but the family behind us was as well. i dont know what was up her butt ., but she definitely doesnt need to be in the business that she is in.worse part is..come to find out she is your new manager in the restaurant.. im sure she will be happy to chase your customers away…rude rude rude…

We had purchased a Westgate time share in 2005 on the assumption that we would be able to travel the world with it. Upon finding this was much harder to do than we had been told. Unfortunately upon staying in Flamingo Bay in 2009 we were told we needed to go to an owners meeting. Going there was a huge mistake. We were talked into paying out another $6000 to upgrade to Planet Hollywood. We were told that because this was on the strip we would have a much easier time exchanging it. I was devastated to later find out that we had been conned into exchanging our 7 days for only 4 days, and finding out we could no longer exchange at all. The contract is very ambiguous and I really can”t see how they can get away with it.

We had been to Myrtle Beach several times. This time we decided to stop at one of the tourism info shops, bad mistake. We got talked into a timeshare promotion. Please don”t fall for these. Basically we were mislead about when we could use it, all the additional costs, lied to in general. We kept trying to leave but they did sucker us in. The lie that makes me the maddest is that even before the day was over, when my wife and I had time to think about it, called them back up and wanted to get out of the contract. We were told that you could NOT get out. This is not true, you have 5 days to right a letter stating you want out. It took me 2 years to find this out. Yes, its to late, but we”re still trying.Please read the contract carefully and don”t believe anything they tell you. They will lie for a buck.

We had a reservation for a 1 bedroom with a King Bed. They put us in a 315 foot studio with a queen bed. When we complained they said we would have to pay extra to get what we reserved. What a rip-off! We checked and drove back home. We went to a lot of expense to get there. The day we checked in was our anniversary. Our anniversary celebration was ruined. If you must make reservations with them make sure you got what you paid for or reserved. BUYER BEWARE!

We went to a sale seminar about the resort. And first off I feel like we were pressured into it. It”s Westgate in the smokies that we got a condo at then it burnt down so we were never ever able to use. Then Westgate contacted me saying they wanted to transfer me to Orlando Westgate and I told them that we wanted to see them ones so they were supposed to have someone show us around at that one. We got there and nobody showed us where to go. Very aggravating. Here we have put all this money out for nothing. Westgate resorts is a crooked company.

We were suckered in with complete lies in July 2016 with WESTGATE TOWN CENTER time share scam in Orlando, FL. I went to book my vacation today 2/3/2017 and 1. Dates where take so we have to with the alternative 2. instead of the promised 8 weeks vacation deals to use in 2 years that (Porcha our timeshare representative informed us), when we called to book we only have ONE week in 2 years not the promised 8!!! 3. Plus she informed us that we had 2 years to pay off and use at any time. ALL LIES. We have to pay 30 in full our package before use. Shame on us for not reading the fine print and believing Porcha. A good liar by the way. In fact her number is [protected], as she so kindly requested we call her with any concerns. So anyone with concerns pls call her! So we booked our Disney TRIP as we don”t want to loose our $1000 that we paid as it is too late to cancel. I hope once we get there that there are no other issues. Please don”t believe this scam as we did. Lesson learned!
