This has been the worst online shopping experience in my life. A horrible first impression. Both the website & confirmation email that I receive from Zumiez both tell that I should receive the package no later than two weeks, depending on where you live. I reside in CA, they ship from WA, With UPS ground, the distance is not that far.. and should not take this long.. 01/10/12 – I put in the order of 5 items with free shipping. 01/17/12 – After one week, I begin to wonder why I did not receive any follow up email about shipping or anything, So I email them. 01/18/12 – Next day I receive an email telling me that one of my items were out-of-stock, and they forgot to tell me. So they then email me that they shipped out my package with just the 4 items. & will cancel the missing item. I was fine with this, as I was iffy about the out-of-stock item anyways, but I was a little angry they waited until I asked. 01/20/12 – I begin to wonder why the tracking information hasn’t updated, since its been 3 days. It SHOULD only take 24 hours. So again, I email them. 01/23/12 – It is now monday, I receive an email telling me that my package has shipped and should be expecting it. Again, without a tracking number. 01/27/12 – Today, I call them and ask where my package is, but the stupid part is, they lost my tracking number. it has been 9 days since it was supposedly shipped, (7 business days) and I still do not have my package. They tell me that I have to wait a minimum of 8 business days before they can do anything, but the thing is, I dont live in FLORIDA across the U.S., I live 2 states away. Things would have gone so much smoother if they had not lost my tracking number. How does that even happen? HOW do you lose a tracking number? I now have to continue waiting till MONDAY & was told to call back TUESDAY if it doesn’t come on Monday. This is absolutely the worst experience ever. Its been almost 3 weeks since I put in my order. NEVER again shall I order anything from Zumiez. Customer service does not seem to be a priority.
